NCSU Belltower in Raleigh, USA

The Memorial Bell Tower, located in the Northeast corner of North Campus, serves as the signature of NC State and appears in the NC State Chancellor's Seal. It was constructed as a monument to alumni killed in World War I. The granite tower, completed in 1937, is 115 feet (35 m) tall. As a tradition, the bell tower is lit in red at night immediately following athletic victories and certain academic achievements.
