A Statewide network of live cameras

This live-streaming infrastructure is powered by the CamStreamer App, integrated into more than 450 Axis Communications cameras strategically positioned throughout Arkansas. This cooperation has been working since 2017 and the solution runs directly on the cameras, offering a reliable and low-maintenance streaming setup that minimizes the need for external hardware or complex infrastructure.

Each camera with licensed CamStreamer App sends an RTMP stream directly from the device to ARDOT’s platform, which then replays the live feed to both the I Drive Arkansas website and mobile app. This configuration ensures low latency, high-quality video, and minimal technical overhead, delivering seamless, real-time traffic insights for all users.

Dutch company Bouwwebcam.nl has deployed hundreds of cameras across construction sites and traffic roads and is using CamStreamer App to live stream locations such as Vrijheidsplein and Europaweg in Groningen using AXIS P1427-LE and AXIS P1448-LE.

This robust, outdoor-ready camera delivers forensic details even in near darkness with Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR, and OptimizedIR (effective up to 40 m / 131 ft).
