Saint Laurence's Church - wide view

St Laurence’s Parish Church is in the north of the university city of Cambridge, England, and the parish also covers nearby villages. Our live streaming helps keep distant relatives and those who are homebound connected with their community. The church was built in 1958 and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of East Anglia. Times of Masses and other services can be found on the church web site and newsletter at <https://www.saintlaurence.org.uk>. We have several live streams with different views of the sanctuary area, including a quiet meditative stream at <https://www.saintlaurence.org.uk/live>. Please feel free to participate in any of the Masses, and as we stream continuously, you can also pop into the church for a few minutes of quiet reflection at other times. We use an Axis P1377 camera with an audio feed from the church’s sound system.

Technical solution

AXIS P1377 Network Camera is designed to act as a deterrent and is ideal for surveillance in wide, open areas where a high level of detail is needed, such as at airports, cargo areas and public transportation systems. The camera is free of hazardous brominated and chlorinated flame retardants (BFR/CFR free), increasing the cameras health and performance while lowering environmental impacts. With up to 30 fps in 5 MP and up to 180 fps in HDTV 720p, AXIS P1377 captures excellent detailed images of fast-moving objects and people. Thanks to Axis Zipstream with support for H.264/H.265, the camera provides exceptional savings on bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality. It offers electronic image stabilization for stable images in situations where the camera is subject to vibrations. Plus, with scene profiles and corridor format you can optimize image settings to suit specific scenarios.
