Beach in Henne, Denmark

The town was a Stone Age settlement and later a Viking homestead with homes and wool workshops. Today it is home to one of this country's best restaurants. When the railways arrived, a new settlement, Henne Stationsby, developed. It has a very popular inn of its own. The third Henne is the one closest to the sea. Tourists know it to be a charming little holiday resort, which has a rich supply of more or less everything. Henne Coasts main attraction is of course the beach. The area at Henne Strand offers a beautiful nature with dunes, moor and forests. The beach is situated 12 km from Nørre Nebel, Varde Kommune.
