Bâlea Lake Chalet, Romania

Amazing Bâlea Lac Chalet is located at 2,034 m of altitude, in Făgăraș Mountains, Sibiu County, in one of the most beautiful natural reserves of Romania. The dimensions of the lake are: 360 m long, 46,508 m2 surface and a depth of 11.35 m. During the summer you can reach the stunning location by car, on Transfagarasan road. During the rest of the year, the place can be reached by cable car, from Bâlea Cascada cottage near Bâlea waterfall. In 2006, the first ice hotel in Eastern Europe was built in the vicinity of the lake. Thanks to the integrator and Axis partner, Brahms International.
