AMI (Basin) Cam, Wisconsin

The AMI (Connors Point) Cam is located atop the AMI building, at the end of Connors Point in Superior, Wisconsin. This camera gives us a unique view of the East Gate Basin, where large freighters are often seen turning 180 degrees or executing other interesting maneuvers before or after passing through the narrows under the Blatnik Bridge. Just across the channel to the north of the camera are the remains of the Old Interstate Bridge, now a public fishing and observation pier at the end of Rice’s Point, along with the Duluth Port Terminal and its general cargo and cement powder handling berths, and berths for G-tugs, Arkansas, Missouri, and North Carolina.
